Joe Polchinski is the Founder and Director of Success LACS. In his role as director, Joe oversees all facets of the day-to-day operations of Success and works with clients in the following skill areas: SAT/ACT tutoring and the college search process; content tutoring and instruction in the following areas-social studies, writing, English as a Second Language; and career search and development.
Joe has been serving in the field of Education and Personal Success Support for over 28 years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science and a Master's Degree in History from Providence College and a Master's Degree in Education from Manhattanville College. Joe is a proud member of both Kappa Delta Pi (International Society in Education) and Phi Alpha Theta (International Honor Society in History). Moreover, he is a certified teacher in New York State (Social Studies, Grades 7-12 and English as a New Language, Grades K-12).
In addition to his work with Success, Joe has served at various institutions as a high school teacher, college professor, Division I college athletics administrator, career advisor and language center director. Among his most gratifying achievements have been the work he has done leading Division I college and Olympic athletes in pursuit of their goals and directing the Iona College Cultural Exchange Summer Program for students from Spain.
In his free time, Joe enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and playing sports, piano, and the guitar.
Bianca Daskal tutors Spanish for Success. Bianca is a certified Spanish teacher in New York State and has been teaching Spanish in middle and high school for over five years. Bianca has also served as the Assistant Director of the Iona College Summer Cultural Exchange Program.

Bianca holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Manhattanville College in Spanish and a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education also from Manhattanville. She maintained the highest of standards while a student at Manhattanville College. Among her many achievements were that she was on the Dean’s List and spent the summer after her junior year studying abroad in Spain.
Bianca credits her grandmother who was also a Spanish teacher and who grew up in Puerto Rico with being her inspiration for becoming a Spanish teacher and tutor. In her free time, Bianca enjoys volunteering, traveling, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
